Yield slate: Refinery configuration — not demand — sets the petrol/diesel/jet/other split of each barrel. The mix-shift slider in the side panel models where on the gasoline-heavy ↔ distillate-heavy axis the world's refineries sit on average; the slate is applied uniformly to all refineries. Refineries also shut entirely below a utilisation threshold rather than running at partial capacity.
